Mora UXplore 1.0, organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Moratuwa, is an inaugural UI/UX designing competition aimed at fostering creativity and user-friendly creations among undergraduates. The event welcomes participants from any university, encouraging them to showcase their design skills through an awareness session, three workshops, three rounds, and a final designathon. With the aspiration of attracting over 250 teams and 750 participants, the event has multiple objectives. These include providing students with a chance to sharpen their design skills, fostering innovative problem-solving abilities, building confidence in sharing ideas, creating a portfolio for future career opportunities, and gaining practical industry exposure through real-world projects and collaboration with professionals to learn about industry trends and best practices.

"IESL RoboGames"stands as an annual event orchestrated by the Information Technology and Communications Engineering Sectional Committee of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka, in partnership with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Moratuwa. The primary goal is to foster and acknowledge the aptitude and proficiencies of the upcoming generation of professionals. The competition is divided into two segments: the School Category and the Undergraduate Category. In the School Category, a sequence of workshops and informative initiatives will be conducted, aimed at introducing the realm of robotics into educational practices within schools. This initiative not only serves as a platform to nurture creativity but also enhances learning efficacy, motivating young minds to aspire to become future engineers and innovators.
